Imagine: The Great Flood is a fast-paced adventure story for ages 8-12. It reveals the struggles of a young boy, Corey Max, when he learns he and his family will be moving from Texas to Florida. It’s difficult to leave his friends and school for the unknown.
After falling and hitting his head, young Corey is transported back to Bible days, when Noah and his family were gathering and guiding the animals to the ark. Corey faces confusion, dangers (including giants!) and doubts, but he ultimately learns valuable divine lessons from Shem, Noah’s son.
I love the underlying message of this book—that God loves us, and is always with us, through tough times as well as the good. This is powerful storytelling with a mighty purpose. I look forward to future books in the Imagine series!
