Evie understood that everyone grieved differently, but it seemed like the Bennetts had simply decided not to do it at all. ~chapter one
The Hearts We Mend, by Kathryn Springer, is a sweet story filled with challenges, unpredictability and romance. It caused me to feel a myriad of emotions and kept me turning pages. It’s one of those—oh no, I have to slow down because the story is about to end—stories.
I love a small town story. The scenes in this book are so real, so vivid. I can relate to many of the characters, especially Evie, (I’m an organizational freak) and feel like Banister Falls is within my reach.
Jack and Evie are unforgettable characters in this opposites attract romance. Drawn in from the first pages, I barely put the book down. Sweet romance at its finest.
First Lines: “You’re up next, Evie. Then you can check karaoke off your list.” Evie Bennett had a lot of lists.
