Someone Like You

She gaped at him as he closed the space between them. The moment called for a handshake, but her body swayed toward his, as if her muscles remembered what her heart needed to forget. ~Chapter 1

Someone Like You, by Victoria Bylin, is a beautifully written second chance love story. (Swoon.) I poured myself into this story like melted butter—and what a treat.

Working together for a common cause, Zeke and Julia find that feelings from the past are all but forgotten. Together they learn about regression, progress, faith, and forgiveness.

A truly touching story, with a meaningful message, that dragged me through an assortment of emotions, yet left me satisfied. A surprisingly quick read.

Ms. Bylin does a fabulous job of incorporating faith, without being preachy or over-the-top, and creates absorbing, credible, and unforgettable characters. Her writing style is engaging and smooth.
