God Made the World is a sweet board book displaying the seven days of creation. The rhyming storyline is meaningful and easy to understand, and the full-page illustrations are colorful and imaginative.
From God speaking light into existence to resting from His work on the seventh day, this book makes the Creation story memorable.
I’m a bit confused by the targeted age group of 8-12 years. I don’t know why school-aged children would want to read a board book. I think it’s more realistic to target pre-school children, whether they can read, or enjoy being read to.
With unique illustrations of mandalas, animals, people, and nature, the glossy pages capture the reader’s attention and illuminate Creation.
The purpose of this book is clear—to teach young readers how God turned nothingness into the world we know and love.
