Imagine: The Miracles of Jesus

Imagine…The Miracles of Jesus is the fifth book in the Imagine series. I’ve read each one and love how the reader is plunged into the era and customs of each biblical adventure.

As the title describes, this newest exploration focuses on the miracles of Jesus. The reader is quickly in as twelve-year-old John Le gropes through darkness in a panic, trying get out of a cave, but ends up going even deeper into the dank blackness. Then the story quickly shifts to thousands of years later—in present day Las Vegas, Nevada, where we discover how John journeyed back to Bible days and found himself in the cave.

John Le, an artist who learned to draw from his Grandmother, is focused on finishing a drawing of a Lotus as a surprise for his mother in an attempt to cheer her up. He hopes to complete his drawing before his plane lands, but he is distracted by a turbulent storm, and Joy, a mysterious flight attendant. Then the plane goes into a tailspin… and soon John finds himself in A.D. 33. He’s no longer in a plane, but in a boat, in the midst of the Sea of Galilee. This is where he begins to experience the miracles of Jesus and find his journey of faith.

This is a fast-paced adventure showcasing the miracles of Jesus.  John’s unconventional journey reveals our need for the Lord and how He is always with us. This is a wonderful series that reveals our need for the Lord and that His love and dedication to us is never-ending.
