Mindful Simplicity

Something I used to tell my kids when they were school-aged was, "A messy desk is a messy mind." I'd stress that they needed to clear everything from their desk (or table, etc...) except the particular subject they were working on so they could focus on the task rather than risk their minds wandering to the other "clutter" surrounding them.

This kind of thinking goes along with this book. Keeping things simple in our homes is a good way to declutter, organize, and bring good energy to our minds. With practical advice, this little guide has inspired me to simplify more and more...
