Be the Miracle

Image
Be the Miracle is filled with spiritual blessings - both in the lovely miracles the author has experienced and in the inspiration I received in reading about them. We all experience miracles--whether we are aware of them or not, but how special is it to be mindful and to choose to see them in our daily lives. I really like how the stories are organized. Each short story/memoir/event is followed by interactive pages to encourage and prompt you to particular actions you can make in your own life. I love the provided lined pages allowing you to document the impact the story made on you, or the impact you can make on others. The stories shared are inspiring and edifying. They motivate me to recognize and display the miracles in my own life.  God is working in our lives everyday and oftentimes we pass him by and don't recognize the brilliant, unexplainable happenings along our paths. This book reminds us to look, see, act, remember, and grow. I received a copy of this book from

The eccentric residents and the "crazy" aunt all added a wonderful feel to the book. . . . It was the perfect blend of romance, mystery, and townsfolk. I can't wait to see who is matched in the next installment of the series." 52 Uncommon Ways to Unwind Together

My 3 impressions of this book: The Good: I love the idea of a fun, spiritual guide for couples to spend time together. I feel this book is geared toward outgoing couples who crave creative and novel activities to do together. Some examples I found interesting are:      *Making your own video to 'Singin' in the Rain.'      *Ask friends/family for videos of their vacation spots      * Invite an elderly widow(er) to dinner with you The Bad:  I'm a private person, and introverted, so I found only a few things that might appeal to me and my spouse. And most of these activities and prompts seem to be the opposite of relaxing or 'unwinding.' In fact, many of them take a lot of preparation. I feel "52 Ways for Couples to Spend Time Together" would be a more appropriate title. The Sweet: I love the spiritual aspect of this book, its basis on the five love languages, and that it is neatly organized. Each of the 52 ideas have a cohesive plan, and my

COVER REVEAL! The Cottage on Wildflower Lane Esther's life isn't perfect (whose is?) – but she's happy enough living in her title flat with her boyfriend, Josh. But that's about to change. Bored out of her mind in work, she wishes that something,   anything,   would happen to liven her life up. Unfortunately, her wish comes true when Josh calls her from the airport to tell her he's going to work in a bar in Spain, and she's not invited. Esther is devastated, and her unhappiness is compounded when she discovers she can actually view the bar via a webcam link and watch him chatting up other girls. But when she inadvertently clicks on a link to another webcam which shows a pretty cottage and the rather hunky man who lives in it, her interest is piqued and she wishes she could get to know him. Wishes don't really come true, though –  do they ...? ___________________________________________________ Pre-order Links:   UK:   https://w
