I received so much more than I expected from The Pursuit of God! What a unique, impactful, and meaningful book of meditations.

Quiet time with our God is so important, and this book provides a 31-day focus on Him. Each day’s reflection opens with a thoughtful title and a large-print full-page Scripture verse on a dark background.

When I first held the book I thought, Wow, this book is thick. I wonder if it will be overwhelming or overflowing. But I was surprised by the ease in which I sank into it.

The book is structured so that there is plenty of whitespace, graphics, and visuals to break up the text. Each day-plan contains unique-styled graphics giving it a nostalgic flair. The whitespace, which to me is so important, makes it easy on the eyes and provides white area for writing notes or reflections (if you wish to do so.)

Ultimately, the largest impact comes from the script. With simple wording and easy to understand thoughts, the flowing prose puts your mind on things of God and fills your heart with renewed hope.

Reading and meditating on The Pursuit of God is a dynamic way to find rest in God.

Disclosure: I received a complimentary copy of this book. My review was not influenced.
